Dr. Lauren Hagel’s initial interest in dentistry came from her father, who is a general dentist in Redmond, WA. After completing her undergraduate education in biology at Willamette University, she returned home to the Seattle area to pursue her dental education.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with Honors from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. While there, she was a part of the RIDE program which is a specific educational track dedicated to training dentists to meet the needs of underserved populations. Following graduation, Dr. Lauren was honored to stay at the University of Washington and earned her Master of Science Degree in Dentistry and Certificate in Orthodontics.
After completing orthodontic training, Dr. Lauren earned her board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Lauren grew up in Redmond, WA and attended the International Community School in Kirkland, WA.
When not taking care of patients, she stays active enjoying all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. This includes riding and competing with her horse, biking, backpacking, and getting out on the lake. In the winter, the only place to find her is in the mountains, skiing.
Dr. Diana Cortes Carrillo is originally from Mexico, where she practiced pediatric dentistry for several years before continuing her career in the U.S. She brings a warm, compassionate approach to care and loves building trust with young patients and their families.
Outside the office, Dr. Cortes Carrillo enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, and discovering new places. She’s also a sci-fi fan—whether it’s through books or movies—and shares her adventures with her beloved dog, Kai.
